Issue Ngc What is the issue with my new DSL Acct. I was told there is a problem.Phone 661-947-1751 randall.spink@ngc.com
I set up my new DSL account almost 2 weeks ago. I tried to set up the equipment yesterday but the set up would not complete due to a problem. I called and was told there was a problem with my account. What is the problem? 6619471751 is the account home #.
Thank You,
Randy Spink
Randy: This IS NOT the area to post customer service issues to. Why you think Yahoo would have anything to do with your DSL account baffles me. Yahoo provides internet content, not connection service.
You need to telephone your internet service provider to get your question answered.
Also, it's a real bad idea to post your telephone number or dsl account number on a public message board like this. If you can, you should delete your original question.
Gold Ngc Can you help me find a good site to buy this type of coin?
I'm looking for NGC certified (pf-70) Gold American eagle $5 coins for under $200 on a site other than eBay or modern coin mart, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I doubt that your request is possible for under $200.
Ngc Graded Whose the best at grading World coins-ANACS, NGC, or PCGS?
I personally think that anacs undergrades and pcgs and ngc are close but ngc grades higher then pcgs. So does this mean that pcgs grades the most accurate? I have always thought that ANACS was right up there with the rest and since I have started to collect world coins have noticed the difference in the top three graders. Does this reflect how they grade with us coins also and is that what brings the premiums higher for NGC and PCGS because they arent known to undergrade coins as much? ICG is the best new grading company and should be in the number 4 spot.
ANACS is by far the best for authentication, especially colonial issues. they also have the best track record for World Coins. None of the grading services are really good at grading world coins. There are too many standards out there. The grading services have made it almost impossible to collect American coins by the average collector who has a small budget. I hate to see them do the same with world coins and ancients. Americans are to lazy to learn to grade coins on their on. So I don't feel bad when they get taken buy a mistake from a grading service. I may sound harsh here but I divide coin collecting up to the average collector who tries to fill an album or folder with dates and mint marks, the come the investors which can be divided up into groups also. The last group is some what small and that is true numismatists who not only collect coins but also study them. They collect for the history aspect also. I very rarely buy slabbed coins unless I see one misgraded or the coin sticks out as a great strike. All NGC and PCGS do is make their owners richer as well as coin dealers. Grading is someones opinion and standards change from time to time. Look back a few years to all the people that paid $200 to $300 for PCGS & NGC MS-64 Morgan dollars only to find out that is a very common grade and the coins now sell for $64. The dealers don't like that fact showing up.
Certified Ngc Does anyone know where you can buy ngc certified coin boxes?
Go to money.org, this is the official ANA web site. They will have storage boxes in their online store that hold NGC certified coin slabs. You could also try Amos Advantage (I forget their address), they also sell storage boxes for NGC certified coins.
I have been purchasing silver eagles pf-70 certified pcgs or NGC, as well as hoarding silver bars, but I've watched them trade around and they seem to do quite well, I've more than tripled my value in what I spent on silver with the market the way it is.
Any other good ones to buy? I have the entire State Quarter set in silver as well...
reccomendations?
gold is out of the price range for me though.....
Actually Proof 70 silver eagles are quite common and they are today's fad. When they first started slabbing and grading Morgan dollars people paid outrages prices for MS-64 coins. A few years later and the bubble burst. The $200 coin was now worth $80. That will also happen to the Proof 70 and 69 coins as well. The silver eagles are only collected by the younger collector not us old timers. The 1916-D dimes that I bought in the 1960's for $20 are now worth $800 or so and are going up faster than the silver eagles. They are however really rare with a mintage of 264,000. The rarest proof eagle in the 1995-W at 30,125 so that would have been a good investment then but now it is over $6,000. The 1994-P proof eagle has a mintage of 372,168 but it's value is not as high as the dime and it would be a lot easier to sell the dime. I am afraid the modern fads caused by the dealers and PCGS or NGS will first of all hurt numismatics but soon separate a man from his money. I would look into real rare coins. The silver state quarters only have 2 years that actually have a high value and it is best they are kept with the rest of the Proof Set if bought that way. They are a good investment now but what happens when they start the national parks quarter program will they then be forgotten by he masses. To me rare coins are the ones minted before WW II that have low mintages. Finding these coins in grades very fine and above are not easy and they make the better investment.
