How will the Philippine peso fare if /when the USD is no longer the gold standard?

Anyone have any ideas as to what might become of the financial future of the Philippines?

It should be some time before the dollar ceases to exist. It is a reserve currency for many countries that are a lot more important both economically and politically than the Philippines.

For the mid-term I would hasten a guess that the Philippine Peso will appreciate along with other merging market currencies vs the USD.

I recently discovered an old Mexican coin. My mother and I want to know its value. $10 peso 2000 coin with ano?

I was hoping a coin buff could tell me if this coin is worth anything. It is a 2000 $10 peso coin. It has "ano" inscribed on it instead of "diez pesos" . There is an aztec sun on one of its sides and an eagle holding a snake. Thank you in advance .

Am I reading this right? An eight year old coin? That's not old. It is a commemorative coin minted only in 2000. According to the Banco de Mexico, it's worth 10 pesos.

Tax on the Austrian Silver Philharmonic coin?

Why does the Austrian Government chooses to tax the silver bullion coins but not the gold bullion coins. I mean, aren't they both legal tenders ?
I wouldn't usually worry about it; however the tax is like 20%. Its huge!
