Coin Uncirculated How much is a XXXVII $50 gold coin uncirculated worth?
I don't think you have the complete date here, but if I remember correctly, the $50 US Gold Coins are one ounce of gold. That would be about $729.20 at today's gold spot price.
For the previous responder: $500 was the correct price back then, but gold has come up a long way since the 2006 red book was written.
Coin Uncirculated Can I use an "uncirculated coin"?
i found this coin collection thing in my house and it says "uncirculated coins" on the packaging. the coins are regular canadian loonies, toonies, quarters and such. i want to know if i can use them cuz i need change.
the collection of coins are not important to anyone cuz my mom said they were mine anyway cuz someone gave it to me as a present when i was a baby. anddd im not that concerned with selling it or anything i just wanna know if i can you it for regular change or not...that gets the best answer -.-
oh my goodness...i dont think im being clear. I JUST WANNA KNOW IF I CAN USE THEM AS REGULAR OLD CHANGE. thank you
Sure, you can spend valuable collector coins as regular pocket change, if you want to be stupid. You might as well walk into the nearest Tim Horton's while you're at it and shout at the top of your lungs that you insist on paying $10 for a $2 coffee.
Coin Proof I have a dale earnhardt silver Proof Coin what is its value?
It has picture of dale in a helmet and his car and the number 3 on one side.
First off, what you have is a medal, not a coin. A coin has to be legal tender issued by a recognized government.
Secondly, a medal like this is going to have the greatest value as a collectible to Nascar fans and not to coin collectors. You can always sell it for silver value to a coin dealer, but that is all he will pay for it, (probably around $10 depending on how large it is). I would take it to a store that sells Nascar memorabilia and ask how much they would pay for it, or if they would sell it for you on consignment. Another option would be to list it on Ebay where other Nascar memorabilia is listed.
Proof Uncirculated How do I know how much my COIN is worth?
It's a painted 2000 millennium silver eagle thats sealed in an original packaging, it's like in a card, with a sleeve. It explaines the weight and content and history. What is the difference between 'proof' and 'uncirculated'.. what else do I need to know?
If the coin has been painted it is considered damaged by coin collectors. As it is now it is just a memento of the millennium. It still has its silver value and is worth at least what an ounce of silver is selling for on the day it is sold. Colored as well as gold plated coins make an interesting gift but have no collector value. The only way to get a value is to put it on a on line auction or see what someone would offer. I saw a colored set of state quarters, well up to the last one in a nice wood frame and it was impressive and would make a good item to pass down in the family but it has little collector value at least yet. Maybe in 100 years who knows. I would just keep it for now.
Reverse Proof Some guy just told me I'm proof that Evolution goes in reverse. What kind of vehicle is an Evolution?
Is it fast?
It's quite slow, but it can make sudden leaps. It's a unique design in that there is actually no reverse gear, so parking it is a bit of a pain. It's powered by logic, and for some reason this renders it invisible to some people, which comes in handy for those stealth driving missions. I'd get one with a dinosaur leather interior.
(of course you could always just get a Mitsubishi Evo... very sweet car)
